Comments : observed from a car

 

Trajectory

Beginning : Az. = 125° (+/-10°), H. = +10°

End : Az. = 125° (+/-10°), H. = +5°

Comments : Apparent path nearly vertical. The planet Saturn was just above and slightly left of the trajectory (helped in determining the azimuth of the apparent path).

Apparent magnitude: -2 to 0

Duration: 1 to 2 seconds

Color: bluish-white

Fragmentation: --

Apparent speed: --

Comments : The object was very bright in spite of its low elevation above the horizon.
