Comments : The fireball was followed by a slight wake. The apparent diameter of the meteor was 1°. It seemed to travel under the clouds, but according to the English witness, this may be the impression caused by the dramatic brightness of the meteor, which was so bright it could be visible in spite of the clouds (see the testimony on the Society for Popular Astronomy website : http://www.popastro.com/sections/meteor ).
