January, 25th 2008 fireball

This huge fireball (magnitude evaluated to approximatively -12 i.e. the brightness of the Full Moon), was observed by numerous witnesses on Friday, January, 25, around 18h12 local time, from Bourges (central France, 37) to the South of France (04, 13, 31, 40, 81) as well as in Spain and in Italy. At the present time, tens of observing reports are coming. This page is thus not updated until we receive a good part of all reports.

A new page should soon arrive, with, as we hop, the reconstitution of the trajectory of the meteoroid in the atmosphere. Don't hesitate to share your experience by filling the Fireball Observing report form ! Thank you in advance for the time you will spend answering it.
