February 13th, 2009 fireball, 19h17

The fireball was also observed and filmed from Italy.
R. Collin, al04 (AstroSurf) :
- on February 13th, 19h20 UT, from Montfuron (43°50' N ; 005°42' E)
- Fireball appeared at a 60/70° height above East-South-East horizon and
went down until a 40° height. It travelled between Orion and the
Cancer.
- Five to six times brighter than Venus, with maximum brightness at the
end of the trajectory
- Fragmented into 3 to 4 parts
- Duration: 3 to 5 seconds
- Quite low speed
V. Jacques, vjac (AstroSurf) :
- on February 13th, 19h17 UT (+/- 20"), from Breil-sur-Roya (43°56' N ;
007°31' E)
- Trajectoiry from South-South-West (h = 50°) to South-West (h = 20°)
(end is less accurate).
- Magnitude close to -6 (brighter than Venus). Brighter at the end of the
trajectory.
- Duration: 4 to 5 seconds
- Blue colored
- Fragmentation in the orange train
LANTHA (AstroSurf) :
- from Saint-Michel l'Observatoire (43°55' N ; 005°43' E)
- Trajectory when from under gemini to Southern cancer at a 10-15° height
- Bright white light with blue
- Fragmented into three pieces
joe83 (AstroSurf) :
- off Nice (43°35' N ; 007°17' E)
- The fireball wasn't directly seen, but the duration xas 3 to 4 seconds.
It probably travelles North-East of the observer (+/-60°).
